How to complie project with BDP Lite

Hello, I hope someone can help.

I am using BDP Lite in my application and everything seems to work fine, in terms of functionailty. However, in Visual Web Developer 2005 Express, the BDP Lite objects create errors. When you hover over the object is says BDP Lite is not a know element. When you try and build the website is shows the error:

"Request for the permission of type 'System.Web.AspNetHostingPermission, System, version=2.0.0.0, culture=neutral, PublicKEyToken=b77a5c561934' failed."

Being fairly new to .NET I have no idea what this means, and thus cannot correct it. I am confused because the date picker works in every other respect.

Is this a problem with my site, or the BDP component causing issues? Apologise if I am being dumb.

    Regards

    Mark

I am getting the exact same error in visual studio 2005.

Have there been any updates to this?

    Hi ckinman1,

Yes this issue was fixed in the latest v1.2.2411 release. You can download and install the latest release from http://basicdatepicker.com/download/

Can you let us know when you installed BDP? Was it recently? We're interested to know if you're running into a new issue with a current build or an old issue with an old build. Please let us know if installing the latest build works or not.

Sorry for not updating this post when the defect was fixed.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,
    Geoffrey McGill
