Basic Date Picker Forums

Hello, 

I have DatePickerStart,TimerPickerStart, DatePickerEnd and  TimerPickerEnd, I used DateCompareValidator and it works fine with DatePickerStart and DatePickerEnd, it validates only the Date but not the Time!!

Do you have any idea? Please Help :)

Thanks for pointing out this bug. We have reproduced the issue.

It looks like we're passing the two datetime values to a Compare function within the Microsoft Validation Library and they're stripping the 'time' value off.

We're going to have to dig into this one and handle the logic ourselves.

We're working on solution right now and hopefully should have a new build available promptly.

We'll post to this forum when a fix is ready or a workaround is available.

We have fixed this bug. To get the new code you will have to download and re-install the latest build.

You can request a download token for the latest build from http://www.basicdatepicker.com/download/ or if you received a "Welcome Kit" email in the past, the links within will still work.

I forgot to mention we created a new Sample that demonstrates using the DateCompareValidator with a DatePicker/TimePicker combo. See http://samples.basicdatepicker.com/datecomparevalidator.aspx

the sample doesn't validate the linked timepickers correctly, it seems. Has the previous bug been reintoduced?

Sorry for the delay in responding, but we just published an update which fixed the validators when a DatePicker and TimePicker were linked. The following sample is validating properly again. See http://samples.basicdatepicker.com/datecomparevalidator.aspx

In order to pick up the new code you will have to un-install and re-install with the latest build. You can download the latest installer from http://www.basicdatepicker.com/download/
